Technology/Standard List
The Technology/Standard List identifies technologies and technical standards that have been assessed and have
been determined to either be compliant or non-compliant with
VA's technical approach to
IT solutions. Those entries that are compliant are designated with a Decision status of 'Approved'
or 'Approved w/Constraints'. Those entries that are non-compliant are designated with a Decision status of 'Unapproved',
'Unapproved - Divest', or 'Prohibited'. Project teams may select from the set of Approved technologies;
however, approved status does not indicate the suitability or compatibility of a particular set of technologies.
Each project team must consult the organizations responsible for the target development, desktop, testing and/or
production environments to ensure that the intended use of the technologies is supported.
The technologies and technical standards are listed in alphabetical order. This information can be sorted by
clicking on the column headers. The following help table describes the information listed:
Name |
The URL (hyperlink) to the Technology/Standard Current Assessment,
if it was assessed via the TRM process. |
Vendor |
The name of the vendor that offers the technology or manages the technical
standard. |
Deciding Source |
The source that made the assessment decision. The choices are:
- ARB - Architectural Review Board
- Benefits Arch - Benefits Architecture
- CDCO - Corporate Data Center Operations
- EA - Enterprise Architecture
- EIE - Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering
- ETM - Software Engineering Tools Management Division
- HSD&D - HSD&D
- QA - OED SE TRM team Quality Assurance
- TRM Mgmt Group - One-VA TRM Management Group

Decision Process |
This identifies the analysis process the Deciding Source used
to make its decision. As the TRM evolves, the process will be enhanced with more information,
which the Deciding Source may use in ongoing assessments. |
Decision Date |
This identifies the date the Deciding Source made the decision for the
technology/standard. |
