Description: CareEnhance Review Manager Enterprise (CERMe) is software that automates the clinical decision review process by supplying browser-based access to criteria for clinical decision support. The technology provides specific clinical criteria that can be applied to patient symptoms to determine the appropriate level of patient care and/or the appropriate treatment procedure(s). CERMe allows two-level reviews of criteria. If the clinical criteria in the primary review for level of care and/or treatment are not met, a second-level review by a physician is automatically initiated. Additionally, the technology provides for data retrieval and aggregated reporting of patient care reviews.

This technology has two deployment options; locally installed or McKesson hosted. This technology can also be used as a standalone solution or, when locally installed, it can be integrated with other applications, such as McKesson VITAL Care Management solutions or other care management workflow applications. The scope of this entry only covers technologies installed within VA`s firewall.

This technology utilizes Jetty, Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, Hyper SQL Server, and Oracle Database to store data.

Please note that there is no specific product page for this technology and thus the vendor blog page is used in its place.
