Description: Connexx is the programming software for the Signia hearing instruments. The technology allows for customizing the hearing instrument and the microphone to the individual`s needs. The product supports fitting the instrument and controlling frequency settings, microphone settings and controlling for other factors such as tinnitus. Additionally, the software maintains a history and trending of patient visits.

This technology saves patient data via a proprietary database component that is packaged with this product. A NOAH (SQL-based) database implementation is also used to measure hearing loss with audiogram and speech tests or loudness scaling.

Please note that previous versions of Connexx have legacy Siemens products built into this product as sub-components including SHS6 Common, SHS6 Fitting, and SHS6 Unity Fitting. The VA has a five year contract window with Siemens which allows VA to support older hearing devices. However, this necessitates supporting prior versions of this technology.

Please note that as of 3/2021 this application had a name change to WSAUD AS SigniaFittingPackage
