Description: Aycan Workstation is an image post-processing and Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) workstation for conventional, multi-slice and other image reading. This product provides standard image manipulation tools for general diagnostic use, including four- and five-dimensional (4D/ 5D) viewers, bone removal, image fusion, scissors segmentation, three-dimensional (3D) volume rendering, and multi-planar reconstruction.

This product is designed as a user-level application, so it does not install any system-level database services. Instead, the product connects to a 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encrypted database to store and transfer images through standardized interfaces such as DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), and make them available to a user`s workstation or mobile device. Other workstations on the network can query the Aycan Workstation and pull images from its database; it also supports simultaneous queries from multiple systems and commands to remotely trigger image transfers between other network nodes.
