| | [1] | This technology requires using a Universal Service Bus (USB) technology to transfer data into the records. As such, proper precautions need to be taken to protect data.
Per the Security Assessment Review, users must abide by the following constraints:
- To mitigate, the administrator shall update the version of OpenSSL to a TRM approved version.
- To mitigate, the system Administrator should be aware the product uses Open-Source Software, although the processes are part of the installation and not configurable.
- To mitigate, the system Administrator must closely monitor this setting to be aware of when it has been reenabled. Further, they should check with the vendor to make sure they know exactly what is being backed up and where. The ISSO shall educate and prohibit users from using the integrated cloud service capability until the VA Cloud Security Requirements have been met and the affected A&A package has been appropriately updated.
- To mitigate, the system Administrator shall control the versioning of SteelSeries Gaming Gear software and do not allow users to install unapproved versions.
